Your ingame profile is composed of your player name, an avatar image and (optionally) a signature. When you first enter a game, you have to choose a player name (you can pick a random one by clicking on the dice icon) and an avatar so that other players can identify you in the game. You may change your avatar at any time in your profile window. Additionally, you can set up a signature in your profile window. In your profile window, more information coming from the game will also be displayed, namely: your starting faction, your alliance name (if you have one), your current position in the rankings and the towns you control.
